Cane is
harvested in winter then stored until dried. The poles are then stripped of
their leaves followed by sun curing.
REEDS AUSTRALIA bases its cane processing on the the
time-honored traditions of the classic French cane growers.
Cane from southern Australia exhibits a variety of
beneficial characteristic to the woodwind player. Resulting from many years of experience,
our cane selection and reed design have been specifically developed to
maximize the unique qualities of this cane.
We only use organically grown and processed cane that has
been naturally seasoned to ensure structural stability and longevity of the
reeds made from it.
Specialized reed making machines are used in our factory
in conjunction with state-of-the-art design and measurement software and
equipment.
REEDS
AUSTRALIA is committed to taking the World's Best
Cane and making it even better!
